6 Minutes to Skinny Review: What The Author Didn’t Tell You

The 6 Minutes to Skinny sounds like a dream come true. Right? Who wouldn’t want to lose weight in just six minutes a day? I know I would.

The truth is that most programs fail to produce lasting results – mostly blamed on the user – but with Six Minutes to Skinny, it’s drastically different: you’ll be making a lifestyle change.

I’m going to debunk all of the 6 Minutes to Skinny reviews and really find out what the author didn’t tell you in their fancy sales page.

What 6 Minutes to Skinny Teaches You

The concept is easy: get a person to exercise for just 4 minutes a day. After all, if you don’t have four minutes to dedicate to lose weight, you will never find success. The author’s goal is to get people moving and to use the body’s natural metabolism cycles to see long-lasting results.

The program is broken down into the following:

  • 4 minutes of gut busting exercise
  • 2 minutes of making a shake

Essentially, you’re only working out for 4 minutes, but this doesn’t mean you won’t see results – you will.

Two minutes are spent on making a shake in a blender. It’s fast and simple. The shakes are good – if you like veggies and fruits – and there is a science behind the 4 minute madness. Essentially, there are metabolic cycles which you can use to kick-start your weight loss. Think of this as an optimal time to exercise.

The intense exercises performed are able to help you build muscle, but they’re main function is to boost your metabolism. If you’re someone that has tried high intensity interval training in the past, this is the same general concept.

You’ll be doing bursts of workouts followed by having a shake that is meant to propel your weight loss all day long.

The best part is that you’ll burn up to 4 times the calories simply because you took advantage of a metabolic cycle.

Does It Really Work?

Yes. Using metabolic cycles will promote caloric burn and help you lose weight. One thing that the author Craig Ballantyne that I would like to point out is that he is very honest. Not only does he want you to start slow and add other elements of the program into the mix, but he mentions that you can speed up your results by watching longer videos.

After all, you won’t get arms like Arnold if all you do is exercise for 4 minutes. But, if you want faster results, you can do more exercises.

The 6 Minutes to Skinny results I saw were amazing. It works very well for weight loss and it can propel your weight loss efforts.

But, the author includes more than what I mentioned above. Let’s really dig deep into this review and examine the fine details.

Looking at the Whole Package

6 weeks to skinny program books

Broken down into easy-to-read publications, you’ll have an easy time following this program. It’s fast and simple, but I recommend starting in this order:

  • Main Manual: The main manual outlines what you’ll be doing in the program and the science behind the process. It’s the first publication that you’ll want to read.
  • 7 Day Fast Start: A complete calendar with lists of workouts that need to be completed. This is your first introduction to the program and what you’ll want to use first. Recipes for daily shakes are given.
  • 8 Week Guide: The 8-week guide is meant for you if you want to continue after the first week (you will). It includes a calendar with the entire 8-week schedule to follow. The shakes are included as well as a space to journal your experience.
  • 2-Minute Shakes: A list of 43 shakes that will be used throughout the program.

These are all of the publications that you’ll need to read, but that isn’t all.

High Intensity Metabolic Workouts

The 4-minute workouts you do are all included in video format in the 4 Minute Metabolic Miracles section. This section included dozens of workouts that you’re meant to do throughout the program.

There are new workouts included all the time, so the program is updated often.

What kind of workouts will you do?

  • Burpees
  • Squats
  • Pushups
  • Climbs

There are also a lot of different workouts that have been custom-made for 6 Minutes to Skinny. The trainers in the videos are very intense, and you’ll have a hard time keeping up with your routine for the first few days.

I want to point out that you will see faster results if you do more than one video, but it is not a necessity to see results. When you buy the program you get access to an a members area that contains all of the information in the program as well as the video series. The videos can also be downloaded for convenient access on your mobile devise. The picture below is a screenshot I took of the member’s area that shows 2 Warm-up  Videos as well as the names of the first four in the series. There are 24 metabolism-boosting videos in the members area.

Nutrition Plan

Did you think you were going to get away with not learning about nutrition? Unfortunately, this is never going to happen. You’ll want, but not need, to follow the nutrition plan. Why? It provides a lot of solid advice:

  • How to shop in season
  • What and when to eat
  • Tips on stopping cravings
  • Tips on intake limits

There isn’t really an outline of recipes to follow, but more of an outline of how to break down your macronutrients, namely protein. This lets you have a base to know what you should be eating, yet gives you the freedom to design your own meal plan.

For me, this is an amazing part of the program.

  • Fast and effective weight loss program
  • Numerous, detailed exercise videos
  • Easiest program on the market to follow
  • Perfect for losing weight – even for busy moms
  • Based off of a scientific approach to boost metabolism

  • Lacks photograph visuals of workouts
  • Nutrition plan lacks recipes

The two minor cons are a little surprising. Most programs will include pictures that explain how to do a workout or exercise. Videos do work better, but adding photos would be nice. The nutrition plan is more of a guide on how to eat and how much, but the program lacks any type of recipes.

Is this a bad thing? Not really. The author is probably trying to give the user freedom to make up a diet plan that hits their taste buds.

If the plan is followed, and you’re not cheating by eating fast food, you’ll lose weight. Period.

So, what will the program cost you? If you guessed $29, you would be right. All of the information, including all of the publications and the videos, costs half of a normal gym membership. Better yet, the program is backed by a 60 day money back guarantee.

If you don’t like the program, you can return it for your money back. No questions asked.

The Final Verdict

Many Six Minutes to Skinny reviews out there do not do this program justice. It’s a simple way for anyone out of shape, older or even the person that is just out of reach of their goal to lose a few extra pounds and finally have the beach body they want.

It’s not a miracle, and it will take some time to see results.

But, you can lose 15 pounds in just 8 weeks – like many users have – without having to go to the gym or deprive yourself of the foods you love. If you want a complete plan to lose weight that uses science, hard work and a proper diet to boost your efforts, this is the program for you.
